On November 10th at Five Seasons Northbrook: '5 Fabulous Tips to Help Your Child Succeed in Sports & In Life'
Is your child a gifted athlete, musician or performer?
If so, then on Thursday, November 10th come to Five Seasons Family Sports Club in Northbrook and learn from someone who has been through the rigors of intense athletic, academic and business competition and helps youngsters navigate that terrain.
From 7 to 7:45 p.m., Holly Katz will lead the program, "Five Fabulous Tips to Help Your Child Succeed in Sports & In Life" at the club, 1300 Techny Road.
The session is especially geared toward parents of children ages 11 and up who want to help their children excel under pressure in sports, music, or in other pressurized situations.
Katz will provide best practice tools to help youth feel more confident and calm, how to overcome anxiety and self-doubt, strengthen peer relationships, enhance resilience and sense of well-being, and stay motivated and passionate about their pursuits.
Katz, principal of Confident Calm and with offices in Deerfield and Northfield, is a sports psychology expert and performance coach. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and HeartMath provider.
As a former nationally ranked tennis player and experienced corporate executive, she knows what it's like to face intense competitive pressure and leverages her experience to help clients fulfill their potential.
"I understand from personal experience the toll that anxiety and self-doubt have on limiting potential and I love helping others overcome those barriers," Katz said.
Katz previously served as a "go-to" career executive coaching partner at JP Morgan Chase and was vice president of human resources at Monster.com. She has helped hundreds of clients move with ease through stressful sports, performance, business, and life challenges.
Refreshments will be provided. For those who register by November 7th, at Holly@HollyKatz.com, Katz is providing a free half-hour consultation as well.
