We need more challenges to Democratic legislators

I generally agree with Chris Heichele in the letter, "Madigans minions don't care about us."

Yes, we must elect more Republicans to the Illinois House if we expect anything to change. Yes, Madigan and his minions have destroyed the once great state of Illinois and will continue to do so until he is dethroned.

Two years ago, all but one Democrat voted to return him to his position of power.

There is no question about it, we need more Republicans in Springfield.

The author goes on to say that if we elect more Republican to those seats held by Democrats, Madigan will not be voted in as speaker of the House again. It's not that simple, of course. If every Republican running were elected, it wouldn't change the balance of power. There are too many Democrats running unopposed and that's a shame.

If the Illinois Republican Party is really serious about changing the culture of Illinois they have a strange way of showing it.
