Trucks, Trunks and Treats in Vernon Hills

The Halloween season is here and the Vernon Hills Park District is getting in on the fun.

On Saturday, the Trucks, Trunks and Treats event was held at the Vernon Hills Family Aquatic Center. Kids wore costumes and made treat stops at various vehicles owned by local organizations.

There were plenty of huge trucks, tiny cars and everything in between at the annual family event.

Adding to the fun were hay rides and a bounce house.
