Values, clarity key in House Dist. 59
The most important thing for me going into this election cycle is voting for a candidate who stands firm on their values and clearly communicates their positions.
I know Carol Sente and she is a fiscal conservative and social moderate, which is why both Republicans and Democrats vote for her. She is a bipartisan problem solver willing to listen, compromise and get things done.
Her opponent, Dawn Abernathy, was conveniently pro-life and anti same-sex marriage in the spring for the primary and suddenly pro-choice and "has a gay friend" in the fall for the general election. Really?
Extreme politicians like Dawn Abernathy and Donald Trump will say whatever it takes to get elected. Dawn Abernathy says one thing publicly, then does the opposite when she thinks nobody is looking. We don't want any of that in state House District 59. We want Carol Sente.
