Is this an acceptable future?

What has happened to the United States. When did it become acceptable to express hatred of those with a different color, religion, or ethnicity?

When did it become unnecessary to practice courtesy and respect for others who do not agree with you?

I don't know when it started, but I do know that the candidacy of Donald Trump has brought out the worst of us and the worst in us.

What has made this country both great and unique among nations is its tolerance toward others, and a desire to raise everyone up instead of knocking others down.

The often-expressed irrational hatred and disdain for anyone who does not agree with him has made Donald Trump the poster boy for every white supremacy group, every anti-immigrant group, every anti Islam person.

A Donald Trump presidency would signal the future of the U.S. as a nation that has failed its Constitution and its people, and willingly sacrificed its leadership among nations.
