Volleyball match to raise money for cancer research

Volleyball teams from Mundelein and Libertyville high schools will meet Wednesday, Oct. 5, in a match that will raise money for breast cancer research. The match is set for 6 p.m. at Mundelein High, 1350 W. Hawley St. Proceeds will benefit the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Last year, the event netted $2,800 for the foundation. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
