Bottle & Bottega Finalizes Franchise Agreement with Local Entrepreneur to Open Park Ridge/Niles' First Location
Get ready, Park Ridge and Niles. Bottle & Bottega is about to paint the town red.
The nation's premier art and wine studio announced that it has signed an agreement with local entrepreneur Neenu Gupta to open the first Bottle & Bottega in the Park Ridge/Niles area, a northwest suburb of Chicago. The concept will launch in early 2017 with "Pop Up" events and a chic and sophisticated studio to follow within the year.
"There is nothing like Bottle & Bottega in my market right now," explains Gupta who previously worked in international fashion sourcing as well as a well-known sandwich franchise. "I wanted to pursue my passion post-retirement and this is the exact opportunity that I have been searching for."
The Park Ridge/Niles location will be Bottle & Bottega's 24th in the United States, hosting events throughout the northwest suburbs of Chicago including Park Ridge, Niles, Rosemont, Des Plaines and Mt Prospect.
Bringing out the creative side in all of us regardless of skill or practice, Bottle & Bottega is one part artistic adventure and one part cocktail party. Through a blend of hands-on art sessions, on-site professional instruction and, of course, a glass of wine, Bottle & Bottega helps guests create a masterpiece that they can be proud of taking home.
Initially, Gupta will host public and private paint and wine events in homes, restaurants, offices, community venues and other locations throughout the northwest suburbs. Once the studio is up and running, Neenu will complement her on-site art parties with in-studio events. She is already scouting studio locations for her permanent home.
"Neenu is the ideal person that we have been searching for to fill this territory," said Nancy Bigley, CEO of Chicago-based Bottle & Bottega. "Her experience in franchising and background in the arts will be crucial as she brings the concept to locals. We can't wait to see how she excels in the northwest suburbs."
Bottle & Bottega rose to prominence in March of 2009 with a Chicago-based mobile art studio. Founder Stephanie King-Myers developed the concept during an impromptu and inspired girls night out where she convinced a friend that painting on a canvas could be done effortlessly with the right inspiration...a glass of wine and the perfect social setting. The city and all of Chicagoland openly embraced the unique concept and its flagship studio opened a couple years later.
In 2011, Bigley, a franchise industry executive with years of success at companies such as Dunkin' Brands, joined as CEO and co-owner of Bottle & Bottega, signaling the launch of the brand's strategic franchise growth initiative.
Today, King-Myers, who holds the position of Founder and Creative Director, and CEO Bigley are guiding the brand's franchise growth, leading recent openings in LeHigh Valley and the Chicago suburbs.
