Schaumburg to host disaster preparedness seminar

With September recognized as National Preparedness Month, the village of Schaumburg is inviting the public to attend a Disaster Preparedness Meeting that will provide information on how to be ready for various emergencies.

The meeting, sponsored by the village's Medical Reserve Corps, will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court in Schaumburg.
