Ribbon Cutting at the NEW Roselle Rd. McDonald's

The new McDonald's located at 1070 N. Roselle Rd. celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon, cake cutting and VIP party on Wednesday night, September 14th. It was a standing room only crowd at McDonald's. David Bear, owner operator, is proud to bring Hoffman Estates another upscale new McDonald's for the community to enjoy for years to come. At the VIP party David Bear welcomed friends, colleagues, Village employees, Hoffman Estates Chamber members, and representatives from the local schools for a special grand opening VIP event. First and foremost important was a presentation made by Gail Bending of Hoffman Estates. Gail shared her story of working for McDonald's in Des Plaines as a teen and now taking her grandchildren to McDonald's in Hoffman Estates. Mayor McLeod also spoke at the event and told David how thrilled they are to have him at yet another location in Hoffman Estates. Mayor McLeod presented David Bear with two beautiful photographs of the restaurant, a Hoffman Estates Flag and a book of Hoffman Estates History. David Bear was honored to accept these gifts from the Mayor and was so touched by the thoughtfulness of the Village. Also in attendance was many Village Trustees, all the Hoffman Estates Chamber Members and many other Hoffman Estates community VIP's. Additional speakers at the event included the following: Alvaro Bonta, McDonald's QSC Vice President of the Chicago Region, Tricia O'Brien of the Hoffman Estates Chamber and of course the owner, David Bear. The event featured complimentary McDonald's appetizers, and smoothies,and of course the cake. The event featured a special appearance by Ronald McDonald. For future events with the the Roselle Rd.
