Libertyville d. Warren: The Wildcats prevailed 26-24, 26-28, 25-18 in their North Suburban Conference opener.

Anna Valente had 10 kills for Libertyville, while Anna Lillydahl added 7 kills and 19 assists. Wildcats coach Greg Loika said his team "played with poise" facing set points in sets 1 and 2, down 24-22 and 24-20, respectively.

Illinois-bound Morgan O'Brien posted 25 digs and served 3 aces for Libertyville (8-2).

Claire Lundtveit led Warren with 13 kills and 16 digs. The Blue Devils' other contributors included Natalie McNally (8 kills, 24 digs), Allison Maan da Kok (2 aces, 12 assists), Kayla Klemz (10 assists) and Hannah Barbosa (16 digs).
