JourneyCare and Brookdale Vernon Hills present "Lessons from Mother Teresa and Creating Your Own Journey" on Tuesday, September 13, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Christ Church, 100 Waukegan Road, Lake Forest.

Featured speakers will be Jim Towey, friend and legal counsel to Mother Teresa, and Dr. Martha Twaddle, Senior Vice President of Medical Excellence and Innovation.

Towey will share his personal stories of inspiration from working with Mother Teresa in her ministry of care for the aging and dying. These life-changing experiences motivated him to create Five Wishes and found Aging with Dignity.

Named one of the nation's 30 most influential leaders in hospice and palliative care, Dr. Twaddle will share her perspective on end-of-life care and advance care planning.
