Kaepernick's call a timely audible

In the game of life, sometimes one feels compelled to "call an audible."

San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick was exercising his First Amendment right to free speech when he sat through the U.S. National Anthem to protest racial inequality.

He did it just one week after Donald Trump chose Stephen Bannon to be his campaign chief. As chairman of Breitbart News, Bannon was the darling of the "alt-right" White Nationalists.

Quarterback Kaepernick's playcall was a timely audible.
