Writers workshop in Schaumburg Sept. 9

Building lovable characters will be the subject of a free workshop coordinated by the American Christian Fiction Writers, Chicago Chapter, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, in the Program Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Participants will learn how great authors like Shakespeare, Stephen King and Flannery O'Connor use dialogue and action to create characters that readers adore.
