Girls volleyball: Larkin moves to 3-0 for season

April McGhee had 8 kills while Natalie Kofie added 3 kills, 5 digs and 17 assists Tuesday as Larkin's girls volleyball team defeated East Aurora 25-16, 23-25, 25-15 to start the season 3-0 for the first time in four years.

Nicole Alm and Kayla Armour added 5 kills each for the Royals.

Waubonsie Valley d. Batavia: In nonconference action, Jenna Garrett (26 assists), Sam Juarez (11 kills), Micaela Hix (7 kills, 10 digs) and Peyton Sachese (12 digs) led Batavia in a 25-16, 24-26, 25-12 defeat.
