Palatine man guilty of supplying fatal heroin dose

A Palatine man was convicted Wednesday of drug induced homicide, in the drug-overdose death of a 29-year-old McHenry woman, according to the McHenry County public records. Herman B. Trigg, who is either 31 or 32 years old, was sentenced to six years in prison for selling the heroin that led to the woman's death on April 4, 2015. Investigators concluded her death to be the result of an overdose. Trigg, a Palatine man who used to live in Crystal Lake, was first arrested July 24.
