Senator, representative bridged divide for veterans

Kudos to state Sen. Pam Althoff and state Rep. Jack Franks for their law to help National Guard members and reservists obtain driver's licenses identifying them as veterans. Althoff and Franks worked with veteran organizations and Gov. Rauner in order to assist veterans in obtaining the benefits they so richly deserve. The law will ensure that every man and woman who has served this nation and state is recognized and can more readily receive veteran benefits.

McHenry County is fortunate that we have caring representatives in Althoff and Franks who work across the partisan divide to help our veterans and our seniors. Both Althoff and Franks care about the people they represent.
