International Bog Day was celebrated Sunday at the Volo Bog State Natural Area in Ingleside.
An art show, silent auction, artist's reception, bog tours and kids crafts were some highlights. Briar Road provided musical entertainment.
International Bog Day is held the fourth Sunday in July and was established in Scotland around 1990. The event was first celebrated at the Volo Bog in 2008.
