Heddinger worked 5 innings, striking out four. Jake Joyce earned the win in relief, moving to 3-2 on the year. Dexter Price added to his career record save total with his second of the season. All nine starters reached base in the win. Schaumburg lashed out 13 hits. Schaumburg owns 10 comeback wins this season.

The Boomers (11-14) have won three in a row and send right-hander Seth Webster (2-1, 2.83) to the hill at 6:05 p.m. Saturday against right-hander Ryan Strombom (2-1, 5.57).
