Island Lake village board meets

The Island Lake village board will meet Thursday to discuss spending about $317,311 to replace a water main on Burnett Road between Midway Drive and Spruce Terrace, as well as other issues. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave. A proposed contract with the town's police sergeants and liquor licenses for local businesses are among the other matters up for discussion.
