No French Market this season in Vernon Hills

Vernon Hills and Bensidoun USA Inc., operator of the Vernon Hills French Market, have agreed to cancel the opening of the market for the 2016 season. The market at the Metra parking lot on Route 45 was to have opened June 4. However, according to the village, Bensidoun secured only four vendors for the season and the decision was made not to operate. The parties will review the market operations to determine how best to increase the number of vendors for the 2017 season.
