Blackhawks announce 2016 preseason schedule
The Pittsburgh Penquins, who are playing in the Stanley Cup Finals, will open the 2016 preseason in Chicago, Blackhawks officials announced Wednesday.
Here is six-game NHL preseason schedule for the 2016-17 Blackhawks:

Wed., Sept. 28: vs. Pittsburgh at United Center, 7:30 p.m.
Fri., Sept. 30: at Pittsburgh, CONSOL Energy Center, 6:05 p.m.
Sat., Oct. 1: vs. St. Louis at United Center, 7:30 p.m.
Sun., Oct. 2: at Detroit, Joe Louis Arena, 5 p.m.
Tues., Oct. 4: vs. Detroit at United Center, 7:30 p.m.
Sat., Oct. 8: at St. Louis Blues, Scottrade Center,7 p.m.
Ticket and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
