Dancers to show their style at Mundelein's Got Talent
Over 200 dancers of all skill levels and will come together for Mundelein's Got Talent, the annual Mundelein Park District dance program recitals, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21, and 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at Mundelein High School, 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein.
Saturday's performance will feature the Company Showcase with the Petite, Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Advance companies. These performers have competed in multiple area competitions. Sunday's performances will include dancers ranging in age from 3 to adult.
Mundelein's Got Talent will include routines to a variety of songs including: "Can You Move It Like This," "Hand Jive," "You'll Be In My Heart," "Unsteady," "Step In Time" and "Seven Nation Army," to name just a few. Under the professional technical assistance of Gary and Sara Gunther, the show will include ballet, jazz, hip-hop and tap dance styles. Dancers have been training for months to put on a dazzling show.
Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the show for $8 each; admission for ages 3 and under are free with a paying adult.
