14th season for Car Fun on 21

Vintage cars and trucks 25 years and older will be parked on Church and Cook streets in downtown Libertyville from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, for MainStreet Libertyville's Car Fun on 21 first classic car show of the season. Food will be available for purchase and music will be provided by local musicians, The Twang. Volunteers assist with parking beginning at 5 p.m. at the Brainerd Avenue entrances. Registration is not required for anyone who wants to participate. The other shows this season are scheduled for June 22, July 20, Aug. 17 and Sept. 21. Each month a local band will perform: Sagebrush (June); Herb as Elvis (July); Sneezy (August) and Kevin Spica (September).
