Raiders sign undrafted free agent Greg Townsend Jr.

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) - The Oakland Raiders have signed undrafted free agent defensive end Greg Townsend Jr.

The team announced the move Wednesday to add the son of the all-time sacks leader in franchise history.

The younger Townsend played college football at USC, where he saw action in all 14 games last season.

Greg Townsend Sr. had 107 1/2 sacks with the Raiders and helped the team win the Super Bowl following the 1983 season.
