Masked gunman robs West Chicago bank
A masked gunman robbed a West Chicago bank Tuesday morning and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said Wednesday.
FBI spokesman Garrett Croon said the man entered FNBC Bank and Trust at 600 E. Washington St. about 10:10 a.m. and "waved a handgun around" before demanding money. No injuries were reported.
The FBI said the suspect was a white or Hispanic man standing between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 5 inches with a slim build who was wearing a face mask, sunglasses, a black hat and black gloves. No surveillance photos were available as of Wednesday evening.
