IKEA Schaumburg debuts remodeled in-store restaurant

The next time you shop at IKEA in Schaumburg, you'll notice that the in-store restaurant has been remodeled. A ribbon-cutting to welcome the remodeled restaurant will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29. The new configuration has three dining zones: for quick dining; for families; and the third has a casual, socializing environment — away from the confines of organized tables and chairs. The menu offerings also now include a wider variety of nutritious and sustainable food choices (i.e., veggie balls). IKEA is remodeling all its U.S. in-store restaurants. IKEA is at 1800 E.
