18th Brain Tumor Walk

The 18th Vernon Hills Brain Tumor Walk is set for Saturday, May 7, at Century Park in Vernon Hills. Check-in and registration will open at 8:30 a.m., with the 2-mile walk beginning at 9:30 a.m. This event is held to remember those who have lost their battles with brain tumors and honoring those who are currently fighting the disease. Started in 1999, the Vernon Hills Brain Tumor Walk raises money for the American Brain Tumor Association, which provides critical funding to researchers, along with comprehensive resources that support the complex needs of brain tumor patients and caregivers.
