Vikings re-sign fullback Zach Line, who was restricted FA

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed fullback Zach Line.

The deal was done Monday, six weeks after the restricted free agent signed a contract tender that gave the Vikings the right to match any offer from another team.

Undrafted out of SMU, Line has appeared in 20 games over the first three years of his career. He scored his first three NFL touchdowns last season, two rushing and one receiving, while serving as a key blocker for league rushing leader Adrian Peterson.

Line has 113 career total yards, including 103 yards receiving.

The Vikings began their offseason strength and conditioning program Monday.
