CLC to host business idea contest

College of Lake County will host a business idea contest similar to ABC's "Shark Tank" on Monday, April 25. Set to start at 7 p.m., 20 aspiring entrepreneurs from CLC will compete. Students from business, art, engineering, geology, digital media and design, economics and education programs submitted a short video about their big idea in an effort to get in the contest. The ideas include new consumer products, services, mobile apps, health care technology and sustainability/social entrepreneurship. Anyone may attend the free event in Room C003 at CLC's Grayslake flagship campus, 19351 W. Washington St.
