Free tasting at Vernon Hills golf course

The bar area at the Vernon Hills Golf Course, 291 Evergreen Drive, recently has been renovated and the menu overhauled and officials are looking for feedback. Free tastings of the new menu will be available from 4 to 9 p.m. April 22-24. The full menu will be available each night for sampling. Reservations are required and space is limited.
