Bears agree to 1-year contract with OL Ramirez

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - The Chicago Bears have agreed to a one-year contract with former Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos offensive lineman Manny Ramirez.

The 6-foot-3, 325-pound Ramirez played for Bears coach John Fox in Denver. He has appeared in 83 games with 65 starts over eight seasons with the Lions (2007-09 and '15) and Broncos (2011-14).

He played in all 16 games for Detroit last season, starting three games at right guard, two at left guard and two at center. In his career, he has started 26 games at center, 24 at right guard and 15 at left guard.

The Bears announced the agreement Wednesday night.
