Screen baggage before the terminals

It was bound to happen. Security entering airport terminals are zero.

I'm not saying that I am a world traveler. I have been to Southeast Asia a few times in the last several years. The only airports that I know that screen the baggage before you enter the airport terminal is in the Philippines. On my first trip there, I was surprised to have to place my luggage in a X-ray machine before entering the terminal. Not only the baggage is screened, so are those entering.

This may have to become the norm, no one is going to like this, but to ensure our safety, this maybe another level, layer of security to think about. Once again, we maybe asked to give up a little of our personal liberty in the name of safety. For me, it will only a few extra minutes well worth the time. Something to think about.
