<h3 class="briefHead">Lake deputies seeking two gas station robbers around Palatine</h3>

Lake County sheriff's deputies' search for two armed robbers believed to be between the ages of 15 and 20 who police say took money from a Marathon gas station on Rand Road in unincorporated Lake County late Tuesday night continues this morning. Because the two suspects may be under the age of 18 police are not allowed to show the suspects' faces in surveillance pictures distributed to the media, but police hope their distinctive clothing gains notice. <h3 class="briefHead">Two shooting victims drive to Beach Park McDonald's for help</h3>

Two people who were shot while in their car just before 7 last night on Sheridan Road in Beach Park have been taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive their injuries, according to the Lake County sheriff's office. The two victims appear to have been shot while in their car before driving around a mile north to the McDonald's at 39082 N. Sheridan Road in Beach Park. Full story.

<h3 class="briefHead">Ex-Buffalo Grove High School teacher charged with stalking student</h3>

A former Buffalo Grove High School math teacher and football coach was ordered held on $30,000 bail yesterday on charges that he stalked a student. Panagiotis Georgitsis, 43, of Elgin was initially charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct last month after authorities say he sent inappropriate text messages to a 16-year-old female student enrolled in his geometry class beginning last fall. Prosecutors announced the upgraded charges during a hearing yesterday. Full story.

<h3 class="briefHead">Possible sighting, but police still seeking Aurora teen</h3>

Aurora police say they are investigating a possible sighting of a 15-year-old girl who is intellectually delayed and has been missing since Sunday night. The sighting about 9:20 a.m. Monday involved a girl fitting the description of Jaclyn White of Aurora getting into an older brown sedan near routes 30 and 25 over the Fox River in Montgomery, police said Wednesday. <h3 class="briefHead">Rosemont sues Uber and Lyft for airport fees</h3>

Rosemont is suing ridesharing services Uber and Lyft, arguing they should pay the same fees the village receives from taxi services for pickups at O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport. The village is joining the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, the agency that runs McCormick Place and Navy Pier known as McPier, and Choose Chicago, the city's convention and tourism bureau, in the lawsuit filed in Cook County circuit court. <h3 class="briefHead">No, the Bulls can't beat the Knicks</h3>

While the Knicks ended a nine-game losing streak last night in Chicago, the defeat knocked the Bulls (36-34) out of playoff position. They are now ninth in the East, a game behind both Indiana and Detroit, who are in a virtual tie for the eighth spot. The Bulls and Knicks meet again tonight at Madison Square Garden. Full story.

The numbers say White Sox closer David Robertson did his job last season but he is looking to put a "terrible" season behind him.
