West Chicago McDonald's holds McTeacher's Night to support their local Preschool

On Thursday, March 24th, the West Chicago Early Learning Center held a very successful Preschool PTO fundraiser at the McDonald's in West Chicago. The Early Learning Center McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the Preschool teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community while raising funds for the school. And what a great community the Preschool is, as the restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers, Preschool staff, and special visits from Hamburglar and the Chicago Bulls IncrediBulls.

Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. Many teachers worked from the school. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, and serving ice cream.

The Preschool McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a spectacular evening. The IncrediBulls and Hamburglar was enjoyed by everyone. The school plans to use the money raised to go into the PTO fund to support school and help with the Fun Fair and a field trip to Brookfield Zoo. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the McDonald's on North Ave. in West Chicago. Special thank-you goes to Madie Ohl, who is the Parent Educator for the Preschool and who organized the entire event.
