TriCity Family Services announces Festival of Color auction packages

TriCity Family Services has announced some of the auction packages that will be available at its 27th annual benefit, "Festival of Color," on Saturday, April 16, at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.

It will be an elegant evening that raises awareness and funds to provide affordable and professional mental health services to all ages and income levels within our community. The evening includes a seated dinner, live entertainment, an extensive silent auction, a live auction, and raffles.

• An Adventure Weekend: Your adventure begins with an airplane tour of the Chicago skyline for two, provided by Chicago Aviation. Once you land, you and seven guests will set sail upon Lake Michigan for three hours on a 32-foot cruising sailboat from Chicago Sailing. Then it's back to the air with indoor skydiving for you and seven guests at iFly, followed by two hours of golfing fun at Top Golf in Naperville, which includes a lifetime membership. After all that, you and seven guests will wrap up your adventure with a fine dining experience provided by Chicago Chef Tyler Nelson and then delight your guests with a decadent theme signature sweet table by Le Chocolat du Bouchard. Note, package does not have to happen in same weekend.

• Blackhawk's Package: This package includes an official Blackhawks jersey signed by two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time Stanley Cup champion Duncan Keith. You and a guest will enjoy a regular game during the upcoming 2016-2017 season. Between periods, you will be down on the ice, enjoying an intimate in-game tour of the rink on the Zamboni. The winning bidder will work with the Blackhawks to identify a mutually-agreeable regular-season game based on ticket availability and previous Zamboni ride commitments.

• Julia's La Pitchoune Cottage: Enjoy access to Julia Child's kitchen for an entire week and the rest of her summer cottage, too. For seven days and six nights you can bake soufflés, take a dip in the pool, or simply enjoy the French countryside. Less than 10 miles from the Mediterranean coast, the cottage boasts the last remaining intact kitchen where the legendary chef practiced and honed her craft, and it also has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so you'll have room for company as you enjoy your stay in this historic getaway.

More new dining, sports, and travel experience packages also will be available. Visit e.gesture.com/events/4HA/ for details, and check the site often between now and the gala, as new auction items will be added each week.

Also, watch for an announcement soon about a special guest; a recognizable performer who appeared on a highly-popular singing competition.
