McFun for Jay Stream Middle School

On Wednesday, March 23rd, Jay Stream Middle School held a McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in Bloomingdale located at Stratford Square. The Jay Stream McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the Jay Stream teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community while raising funds for the school. And what a great community Jay Stream Middle School is, as the restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers and a visit from Ronald McDonald.

Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. An amazing eighteen teachers worked from the school. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, serving ice cream and selling Pies.

Jay Stream McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a great evening. The school plans to use the money raised to support the 8th great year end boat trip at Navy Pier in Chicago. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the McDonald's in Bloomingdale. Special thank-you goes to Jay Stream Teacher, Hally Patel, who organized the entire event.
