The 15-minute ceremony will begin at noon Thursday, April 7, in the lobby of the historic courthouse, 100 S. Third Street in Geneva. Arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to pass through security.

Lunch will follow as William J. Parkhurst, Abuse and Neglect Judge for the 16th Judicial Circuit, will perform a swearing-in ceremony for the CASA/GAL advocates. McMahon, Kane County State's Attorney; and Gloria Bunce, executive director of CASA Kane County.

The future prosperity of the community depends on its ability to foster the health and well-being of the next generation. You can help make a difference year-round through small acts that help protect children, strengthen our families and ultimately prevent the abuse and neglect of children.
