To be right, keep family first
Can the right get it wrong?
Well, yes. The further the right moves away from common sense, truth, and common law, the more wrong the right will be. Common sense: The family is the foundation and future of our country.
1) All immigration reform must honor the family. Securing our borders is a function of "willpower" not "wallpower." We must know who is in our country. "Visitors" must have identity. All citizens carry identity and are "on the grid." Our foreign "visitors" must have identity.
2) All economic reform must honor the family. A man needs the dignity of being able to work and raise a family. Families break apart with a "part time," "no benefits" mentality. Policies encouraging business activity and manufacturing must also encourage a "living wage."
3) All health care reform must honor the family. If there is a government support fund for health care, let it begin with a struggling family.
4) Let's face it, killing babies in the womb is wrong, A family begins with a husband and a wife and then kids.
5) A pillar of our society is having faith in our creator. Giving thanks and praise to this truth is the beginning of common sense.
If I may quote Ronald Reagan: "The American dream is not that every man must be level with every other man. The American dream is that every man must be free to become whatever God intends he should become."
