Discover honored for Freeze It technology

RIVERWOODS - Discover was named a Digital Edge 25 award winner for the development of the Freeze It technology, a feature that allows customers to instantly freeze their credit cards if misplaced or stolen.

The Digital Edge 25 awards, presented by the Agenda16 conference and produced by IDG Enterprise, recognizes 25 organizations that put digital innovation at the center of their business and continually strive to be on the "edge" of digital disruption.

The Freeze It technology allows Discover customers to freeze or unfreeze their accounts via the mobile app, online browser or by talking with customer service, providing them an easy-to-use experience while helping to prevent fraud.
