Dylan Assmann scored 6 goals and Robert De Pau added 3 as host Fremd improved to 2-0 against Mid-Suburban West boys water polo foes with a 16-6 victory over Palatine on Wednesday.

Nate Jordan and Alex Nicholas both had 2 goals for the winners while Arnas Maciunas, Danny Konishi and Derek Warnstedt each had 1.

Barrington 15, Conant 10: The visiting Broncos evened their record at 1-1 in the MSL West.

Schaumburg 18, Hoffman Estates 2: Tyler Gustafson scored 5 goals for the host Saxons while teammates Ardit Breznica and Sam Thomas each had 3 in MSL West play.

Schaumburg goalie Joseph Kula made 6 saves and Hoffman's Mark Heitkotter had 4.
