Trump's mistakes are harmless, aren't they?
As a card-carrying Democrat, I wish you Republicans would quit dumping on Trump. So he's made a couple mistakes; who hasn't?
Yes, he lied about knowing David Duke and the KKK; who wouldn't? So he made a rude comment about Carly Fiorina's face; he apologized, OK? Alright, I admit that comment about John McCain not being a hero wasn't great, but he regretted it.
So he wants to change international law to make waterboarding legal; are you sure he didn't mean snowboarding?
And that thing about sleeping with lots of married women; that's just bragging. I will admit saying his daughter was hot, and if he wasn't married, he'd probably want to date her was a little creepy, but we all say dumb things when we're drinking, right? Oh, he wasn't drinking? Oops.
OK, I know he stole the phrase "Make America Great Again" from Ronald Reagan's 1976 campaign to try to get the nomination from Gerald Ford, but people steal quotes all the time.
Sure he said Vladimir Putin shows strong leadership when he kills journalists, what's the big deal? It's Russia, for cryin' out loud.
Yeah, he acts like a bully, he's vulgar, he runs a fake university, and wants Congress to change the libel laws so he can sue people more easily; who's he harmin'?
I say leave the man alone. He's our only chance of winning the presidency, the Senate and the House in November. Rock on, Donald.
