Glendale Heights man faces drug, weapon charges

A Glendale Heights man faces several drug- and weapon-related charges following a lengthy investigation by several law enforcement agencies, authorities said Friday.

Kourtland Roberts, 35, of the 1800 block of Somerset Drive, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of ammunition without a firearm owner's ID card.

Police said they executed a search warrant at Roberts' house on Friday morning where they seized cocaine, cash, ammunition and items used for packaging and selling drugs.

Roberts was taken into custody at his home and was being held Friday in DuPage County jail.

Glendale Heights police said they worked on the case with investigators from Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream and the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group.
