German students visiting West Chicago

Twenty students and two teachers visiting from West Chicago's Sister City, Taukirchen Vils, Germany, will be at a fundraising St. Patrick's Day dinner for the program from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at the American Legion, 123 Main St., West Chicago.

West Chicago Sister Cities has had a relationship with Taukirchen Vils since 1999, and both towns regularly host exchanges.

The German students, who are visiting from March 12 through 24, are attending the local high school for four days and going on several excursions in the area.
