VERNON HILLS - Specialized Podiatry recently opened at 175 E Hawthorn Parkway, Suite #220, in Vernon Hills.

The community podiatry clinic specializes in surgical, biomechanical, and medical treatment of foot and ankle disorders. Dr. Igor Dukarevich has been in private practice of podiatry since 2011. Prior to that, he underwent a three-year residency at Rush University Medical Center, where he received extensive training in foot and ankle surgery, biomechanics, and medicine. Dr. Dukarevich obtained his doctoral degree in podiatry from Rosalind Franklin University and Scholl College of Podiatry and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from DePaul University.

Dr. Dukarevich specialized in all foot and ankle disorders, with interests in wound care, sports medicine, trauma and pediatrics. He is on staff at Westlake Hospital and West suburban Medical Center. He is also on the physician panel at the West suburban Wound Care Center. Dr. Dukarevich speaks fluent Russian and basic Spanish.
