Hillary Clinton to campaign in Lake County tonight

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton will campaign in Vernon Hills tonight, continuing a parade of candidates through the Chicago area ahead of Tuesday's primary election. Rosemont Harry Caray's says gated parking plan could 'wipe us out'

Harry Caray's Restaurant Group CEO Grant DePorter said a proposed gated parking lot next to his restaurant in Rosemont could "essentially wipe us out," arguing it would deter people from patronizing the popular eatery. A Lake County grand jury approved a new charge yesterday against Melodie Gliniewicz, adding to the allegations connected to her late husband's embezzlement of funds from a Fox Lake youth group. Waukegan police seek 4 in 'crash and grab' at gas station

Waukegan police are looking for four men who rammed a pickup truck through the front of the Marathon gas station at 901 Glen Flora Ave. in Waukegan and took cigarettes, liquor and cash before evading police early Wednesday morning. According to the surveillance video released by police, the men took around 90 seconds to complete the "crash and grab." Full story.

Elgin body shop owner sentenced for sexually abusing teen

The 42-year-old owner of an Elgin body shop pleaded guilty yesterday to sexually abusing a teenage acquaintance last year. In exchange for his guilty plea, Marco Fernandez, 42, of Belvidere was sentenced to six months in jail and 30 months of probation. Full story.
