Candidate will stand up for seniors

As the administrator at Heritage Health of Elgin, I am very familiar with how public policies cause problems for senior citizens. I am very optimistic about Steve Caramelli, candidate for state Senate District 22, after he visited with our residents and staff.

All too often, politicians make promises to do what's right for frail, elderly people, but don't follow through.

I'm confident Steve will stand up for all seniors in Illinois, when we send him down to Springfield. His record as a public servant and state police officer shows he stands up for people in need. During his visit to Heritage, he treated each resident with respect and dignity, and made time to genuinely listen to their concerns. Steve promised to stand up for nursing home communities against political pressures. He is someone we can be proud to call our state senator.
