A champion of safe drinking water

We all want clean water. Preserving our groundwater and the Fox River that supply drinking water for our region's residents is a critical need. Luckily Carolyn Schofield is a proven advocate for protecting both the quality and quantity of this essential human need.

She worked to protect our water resources while serving as a Crystal Lake councilwoman and for the past four years on the McHenry County Board. Now she is running as a Republican candidate for Illinois House of Representatives District 66. We need a representative in Springfield who will look out for our community needs. That's why the Sierra Club has endorsed Carolyn in this race. She is a leader who will protect our water supply and bring clean energy jobs to Illinois, critical to improving our state's economy. Carolyn is a Republican who knows conservation is common sense.
