Schaumburg share of Roselle Road ramp cost is $988,310
Schaumburg will pay $988,310 toward the Roselle Road interchange on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), according to an intergovernmental agreement finalized this week.
The total cost of the Roselle Road interchange is $36.7 million, which is being shared by the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, Cook County and Schaumburg.
A similar agreement laying out the village's financial responsibility in the I-90/Meacham Road interchange was made earlier. That agreement was simpler because it involved only two parties and not three, said Schaumburg Village Manager Brian Townsend.
The Roselle Road interchange, expected to improve access to Schaumburg businesses, is on target to be completed near the end of 2016, he said.
