Had Romney been so fervent with Obama

If Mitt Romney had attacked Obama with the same fervor he just used against Trump he might be running for his second term.

The Republican Party has been dead from the neck up with ineffectual leaders like Boehner and Mc Connell.

Add to that the Tea Party with their no negotiation policy and the Republicans have argued with each other rather than coming up with effective legislation.

Too many people are fed up with Washington as a whole. The old plutocrats don't want someone who is not under their do-nothing influence.

Trump swore he would not run as an Independent if he did not get the nod in the upcoming election but with the job they just had Romney perform I would not blame him if he did.

If he runs as an independent the Democrats should throw him a party.

Maybe the old guard needs to spend some money to find out what the public perception about them really is. I know I have mine and they would not like it.
