Fundraising Game to Benefit Injured Player
Adored Chicago Cougar team leader and great youth mentor Matt Olson suffered a severe spinal cord injury in an unprovoked accident in a game last Sunday. The medical costs to enable Matt to progress are going to be astronomical.
To help start this process, Chicago Cougar Jr Team games this Saturday and Sunday, and then a Mite/Squirt Coyote Wolf Pack game Monday will be opportunities to contribute to the substantial cause and at the same time show support for this wonderful 20-year-old young man. The Chicago Cougars will donate all proceeds from tickets, donations, and sales of buttons, bracelets, T-shirts, and jerseys to the family's GoFundMe page.

We are collecting donations at the game to hand over to his family that night. We are doing a moment of silence for him and are wearing green and gold bands around our sleeves Mike Tompkins, owner of Cougars, and other teammates, will be at the game.
